Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a sequence of
postures to reduce stress, relax
the body & calm the mind. Poses
are held longer. In some poses
restorative props (such as
blankets & bolsters) are used to
support the body in a posture so
your muscles don't have to work
to hold you in the posture. Your
muscles can relax while you reap
the benefits of the pose. It is a
very relaxing & rejuvenating class.

RESTorative Yoga class on a
requested basis. This class is by
reservation only & separate from
any yoga packages. If you are

Private Yoga / Yoga Therapy
Private yoga sessions allow you to focus on
your specific needs.
Together we will design a yoga program for
you based on body posture reading, mobility
assessment & your personal goals.
Your goals may be to relax and reduce stress,
correct common postural misalignments,
strengthen and/or stretch muscles, modify
poses for healing, learn & practice breathing
exercises (pranayama), etc.
Ashtanga
The Ashtanga Yoga class is an active 90
minute workout-- moving through a
specific sequence of postures (asanas)
linked with breath and vinyasas (a flow
of postures) to build internal heat in the
body. This internal heat aids to increase
flexibility, strength, stamina, detoxify and
purify the body.
The breath is used to create a rhythm to
focus & calm the mind. Maintaining
awareness of the breath throughout
Ashtanga practice is emphasized.
Verbal instructions and physical
adjustments will help you learn the
Ashtanga sequence.

VINYASA FLOW (Element/Chakra Classes)
EARTH PRACTICE -
Focusing on Muladhara chakra, the root chakra. A grounding yoga practice with lots of hip
opening. You will feel your connection with the earth after this class!
FIRE PRACTICE -
Focusing on Manipura chakra, the solar plexus chakra. An energizing, heating, detoxifying
practice building core energy. Increase your energy & self confidence!
WATER PRACTICE -
Focusing on Svadhisthana chakra, the sacral chakra. A fluid, expressive & powerful class.
Slow & smooth to powerful & surging like the currents of a river. Connect with your feelings,
sensuality & creative energy. This class is energy in motion!
Healing Spirit Yoga Studio
Yoga Nidra translates to yogic sleep, but you
are not sleeping. You are in savasana position
and become physically, mentally & emotionally
relaxed as I verbally guide you through. It is
achieved by going inward, away from external
experiences. Some benefits are reduction in
stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, blood
pressure, pain, feeling out of control, etc. It is
very beneficial for most people.
