Wendy combines breathtaking technique with an
artistic grace that brings out the special quality of
all the different yoga postures. She leads her pupils
with precision and unfailing kindness and with an
uplifting spirit. At "Healing Spirit" there is yoga for
all palates and tastes; I'm amazed at the variety of
what Wendy knows and I always leave one of her

I found out about Wendy at a point in my college life when i was
wanting some kind of outlet to release stress from work and school,
while also contributing to my physical and mental well being. After
doing yoga with a few different instructors in the past, i knew that
yoga was the answer, but i didn't know which teacher to choose. After
looking over Wendy's website, i decided to come in and try one of her
classes. I've been coming to class every week since then. Wendy's
teaching style is wonderfully balanced. One of the greatest things
about her is how vocal she is about people "listening to their body".
So you don't feel bad when you can't do a pose fully, or at all. She
works with you, where YOU are, at that moment. For those who are
already familiar with Yoga, she can also offer skilled advice on
technique and great "assists" that can really help you push yourself
and further your practice when you're ready. Wendy's awareness of
people's individual ability and potential has helped me so much in my
Yoga practice and I'm sure it will continue to help my practice in the
years to come.

When I first started coming to Yoga, I was basically new to the entire
idea of it. I always come with my girlfriend, Julie, and over the 2
year span of time that we've been attending Wendy's classes, we both
feel that our abilities have grown ten fold! Without Wendy, I'm not
sure I would have continued to attend yoga classes, and definitely
would never have enjoyed yoga as much. Vinyasa Flow on Wednesdays is
the best class for us, and you shouldn't be scared that it is listed as
"for intermediates" because you can always take a class from Wendy and
modify the practice to fit your own needs. She is always extremely
accommodating, and will help you with anything you need! Don't be shy,
ask questions, and try a class from Wendy, I guarantee it will be a
rewarding experience.
